Broken System Productions Returns as eXposed.media

It has been a while since I have produced any stories, but it has by no means meant that I have walked away from exposing corruption, misconduct, abuse of power and incompetence that is rampant in all governments and their departments in Australia.

I am Charles McGavin. I previously ran the website Broken System Productions. That site focussed on exposing corruption, misconduct and abuse of power primarily in the child protection and family court sector throughout Australia.

It gave families the opportunity to publicly name caseworkers and discuss their misconduct. That tactic obviously worked because the Victorian government tried (and failed) to shut my site down 1. I simply moved it to Iceland where it resided for several years.

However, I have decided that a re-brand and refocus is now required.

It became increasingly clear to me that child protection and family courts are not the only sectors that require oversight. Every government department is now operating in a secretive and deceitful way and with massive overreach of power. Australians are not being represented properly by their elected members of parliament, and bureaucracy has been left to go wild.

What has become known as the legacy media, that is the Stokes and Murdoch media are complicit in presenting a fixed narrative. I know from my association with them that they actively suppress public interest journalism if it doesn’t suit their narrative. That is a fact!

The Australian people have a right to know the full,, uncensored, unbiased versions of the story.

There needs to be more independent media to report on the real issues Australians are experiencing.

I am an independent journalist and proud member of MEAA, the Media, Entertainment Arts Alliance 2.

I don’t work for the legacy media. In fact they won’t publish the majority of stories I present. However, there is more need than ever to report on issues that governments would like to keep suppressed, and that the public have a right to know about.

Even political decisions that appear favourable to Australians need to be critiqued so that every Australian can be well informed.

Everything I present is thoroughly researched, and while sometimes assumptions and inferences can be drawn, that is only done when there is reason to do so.

My reporting and investigations are politically non-partisan and the only agenda is the public’s right to know.

Although you will find that many stories are not favourable to government, that is because there is a huge bias in the legacy media with stories that are.

I have decided to discontinue the caseworker review system. It served its purpose at the time, but I feel it is no longer required.

It captured substantial data to show that caseworkers lie to the court and manipulate reports, yet courts accept their testimony while knowing they lie. On the flip side, I had the opportunity to connect with many in the sector who spoke out.

It has become necessary to shine a light on nearly every government department, both federally and in each state. Sometimes it is also necessary to expose private businesses that have gone rogue and the public need to know about.

My interest in child protection has not been sidelined. It is still a big part of what needs to be reported on, as it accounts for over $9 billion of government spending per year in Australia.

The areas that I report on are anything to do with corruption, misconduct, and abuse of power in the government sector. Sometimes this will also take in external agencies, or situations that indirectly result from government policy.

These stories have a public interest component, and some immediacy about them. It doesn’t lessen the quality of investigation that needs to be done, it is just that these can usually be done quite quickly and have a single focus.

Investigations usually will have a protracted timeframe in order to gather evidence that will support the publication of findings. An investigation is usually associated with a big breaking story about a single incident, or single theme that can affect many people.

Social media tends to block and suppress anything I write about. So in response, I built a free speech social media platform that is free for all Australians to use 3. yoohoo.network is active now, and although in early days it is completely functional.

My vision is to inform Australians about what is really happening in their country without the filters and spin of the legacy media.

My work is completely self funded. I do not belong to any political party or ideology. All my work is my own and I don’t accept payment for favourable treatment.

I would love you to join me.

The best way you can assist is to subscribe to my eXposed newsletter, get involved in the conversation, and invite others along.
